Amarone" from Masi made in Argentina.
Grapes: 70% Corvina, 30% Malbec.
Color:Red-blue-black,very deep, good intensity.
Nose: A little closed, spices, dried fruit, tobacco, tar, almonds, oak.
Palate: Very big body, very consentrated of prunes, raisins, black cherry, plum, tobacco, some meatyness, tar. Tough structure and very distinct dry tannins, firm finish, oak.
Foodmatch: Very powerful grilled foos with fat sauces. Fat strong cheese.
Cellaring: 3-10 years. I am not sure how this will age.
I would take a real Amarone della Valpolicella any time before this. Very big tough wine, but nothing more.
